Meet Momentum's Care Team: Creek Program Manager Kevin Reich

Kevin Reich

Welcome to our Employee Spotlight series, where we take a moment to recognize the incredible individuals who drive the heartbeat of our organization. Our hope is to shine a light on the diverse talents, unique personalities, and wonderful achievements of the people who make up our treatment community. We invite you to get to know the faces behind Momentum's success stories and learn more about the people who make our workplace a vibrant and dynamic home.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

I find fulfillment in building meaningful connections with both clients and staff. Witnessing a client’s growth and progression, especially through challenging times, is deeply rewarding. I particularly value the opportunity to support clients in overcoming their low points and seeing them emerge stronger.

Can you share a memorable moment or achievement during your time at the company?

A particularly poignant moment occurred when, as a Residential Counselor, two clients I had developed a close rapport with relapsed during a later phase of the program. Following their experience, we had an honest and open conversation about their journey. Hearing that they valued repairing their relationship with me and with Momentum reaffirmed the significance of the bonds we form and their impact on recovery.

Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?

The usual fare. I like to surf and go to the beach. I love my dog jasmine. She joins me at work most days. I love going to brunch on Sunday afternoons. But my real passion is adult league slow pitch softball. Seasons about to start. We have a momentum team starting this year, so if you're in town on a Thursday come join us.

If you could give one piece of advice to new employees, what would it be?

There are countless ways to connect with clients, so I’d encourage new employees to discover their own passions and share them. Equally important is taking the time to understand the client’s interests—ask thoughtful questions and create space for them to share their experiences. Authentic connection is at the heart of meaningful work.
